How much does it cost to rent a car in Montenegro?▼

Do I need an international driving license?▼
For EU guests a national driving licence is enough. Non-EU drivers are advised to carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national licence. The company confirms exactly what it accepts at booking.
What is the minimum age to rent a car in Montenegro?▼
Usually a minimum of 21 years and 1–2 years of driving experience. Some vehicle categories require 23 or 25. Every vehicle on the site clearly shows the minimum age and experience required.
Can I cross the border — Croatia, Albania, Bosnia?▼
Yes, with prior agreement from the company and the right insurance (Green Card). For trips to Albania, Croatia or Bosnia, notify the company in advance so they can prepare the paperwork.
Can I pick up the car at the airport (Tivat / Podgorica)?▼
Yes. Most companies offer pickup and drop-off at Tivat and Podgorica airports, as well as delivery to your hotel or apartment. You choose the location when booking.
Is a deposit required?▼
It depends on the company and the vehicle. Some cars are deposit-free; for others the deposit is held on your card and released after you return the car. The deposit amount is shown clearly on each vehicle.
Is insurance included in the price?▼
Basic insurance (CDW/TPL) is normally included. Extra coverage (zero-excess, glass and tyre protection) is offered as an option by the company. You confirm the details directly with the company.
