Terms of Service

localcars.me is a marketplace platform connecting end-users with local rent-a-car companies in Montenegro. localcars.me is NOT a rent-a-car company and does not provide rental services directly. We act solely as an intermediary.

All rental contracts are concluded directly between you and the selected rent-a-car company.

• Companies register in their own name, providing accurate data (tax ID, company name, vehicles).

• Misrepresentation, fake vehicles, or false data result in immediate account suspension without refund of subscription.

• You are responsible for the security of your credentials. Do not share your password.

• A booking on the Platform is a reservation request with a rent-a-car company. The company confirms or declines within 24h.

• The price at the time of booking is binding for the company except in case of an obvious error (e.g., €1/day).

• Cancellation policies are determined by each company — check them before booking.

• Deposit (if required) is paid directly to the company upon vehicle pickup.

• localcars.me is not a party to the contract between user and company.

• We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss arising during vehicle rental.

• We are not liable for the accuracy of information posted by companies (prices, images, descriptions) — we moderate but do not guarantee.

• In disputes between user and company, we mediate in good faith but have no legal liability.

• Subscriptions renew automatically monthly/annually until cancelled.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — fees are not pro-rated.

• Suspended accounts receive no refund.

• Scraping the Platform without written permission.

• Attempting to bypass the Platform to avoid subscription (e.g., sharing your own contacts in vehicle descriptions as a workaround).

• Sending spam, fake reviews, or impersonation.

• Any attempt at DDoS, exploit, or unauthorized access.

Sanctions: account suspension, content removal, possible legal action.

• Platform content (design, code, logo) is property of localcars.me.

• Companies retain ownership of their photos and descriptions but grant localcars.me a license to display them on the Platform.

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of Montenegro. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Tivat / Podgorica courts.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email 30 days in advance.
